Seven-fold inspection of portable energy storage power stations

In daily life, due to the popularity and application of renewable energy sources such as solar and wind energy, people’s environmental awareness, pay more attention to energy saving, emission reduction, and sustainable development, the demand for charging anytime, anywhere has also increased dramatically, as well as in the face of natural disasters, blackouts and other emergencies, portable storage power stations are becoming more and more common, and have become indispensable to people’s lives, so people are more concerned about the safety of the portable storage power station, which put forward a higher demand on how enterprises ensure the quality of portable storage power station, our company through the following seven tests to allow people to achieve more peace of mind with the use of electricity:

 

Constant heat and humidity test

Inspection method&Requirement:

Confirm the appearance, function, and performance of the samples before the start of the test, and then store the fully charged samples for 12 hours in a test chamber at a temperature of 40°C ± 2°C and a relative humidity of 90% to 95%. After removing the sample, it was allowed to stand at room temperature for 2 hours, after which it was examined for appearance, function, and performance.

Finally, make sure that there is no appearance abnormality such as discoloration, deformation, or cracking on the surface of the samples, and that the function and performance of the samples do not show any abnormality.

 

High-temperature discharging test

Inspection method&Requirement:

Confirm the appearance, function, and performance of the sample before the test, and then place the fully charged sample into the test chamber at 40℃±2℃ for 2 hours and then discharge the sample with the rated load until it is automatically switched off. Remove the sample and leave it at room temperature for 2h, and then carry out the appearance, function, and performance inspection of the sample.

Finally ensure that there is no discoloration, deformation, cracking, or other appearance abnormalities on the surface of the sample, while the function and performance of the sample should not be abnormal.

 

Low-temperature discharging test

Inspection method&Requirement:

Before the test on the sample appearance and function, performance confirmation, and then the fully charged sample into a -0 ℃ ± 2 ℃ test chamber shelved for 2 hours with the rated load discharge to the automatic shutdown, and then take out the sample in the room temperature conditions shelved for 2h, and then the sample for the appearance of the functionality, performance inspection.

Eventually, ensure that the sample’s low-temperature working process is not abnormal, with no discoloration, deformation, cracking, or other appearance abnormalities on the surface, and at the same time, the function and performance of the sample can not appear in abnormal conditions.

 

High-temperature Charging test

Inspection method&Requirement:

Before the test, confirm the appearance function and performance of the sample, and then put the sample with 0% power into the experimental chamber at 40℃±2℃ for 2h, and then charge the sample to full with standard input, and then take out the sample and put it aside for 2h at room temperature, and then carry out the appearance and function and performance test on the sample.

Eventually ensure that there is no abnormality in the high-temperature working process of the samples, and that there is no appearance abnormality on the surface such as discoloration, deformation, cracking, etc., and that the function and performance of the samples should not be abnormal.

 

Low-temperature Charging test

Inspection method&Requirement:

Before the test, the appearance, function, and performance of the samples were confirmed, and then the samples with 0% charge were put into the experimental chamber at 0℃±2℃ for 2h, after which the samples were charged with the standard inputs until they were fully charged. Afterward, the samples were taken out and left at room temperature for 2h, and then the samples were inspected for appearance, function, and performance.

Eventually, ensure that the sample’s low-temperature working process is not abnormal, the surface is not discolored, deformed, cracked, or other appearance abnormalities, and the function and performance of the sample do not appear in abnormal conditions.

 

Vibration test

Inspection method&Requirement:

Before the test on the appearance of the sample and function, performance confirmation, and then the prototype will be fixed on the vibration table, the frequency of 100 Hz harmonic vibration and vibration of not less than 10 min.

To ensure that the sample does not break, shaking the product should not cause any sound or obvious internal parts loss, and at the same time, the function and performance of the sample should not appear abnormal.

 

Drop test (not applicable to PCBA monomer)

Inspection method&Requirement:

Before the test, the appearance, function, and performance of the sample will be confirmed. Then the product will be dropped freely from a height of 1 meter to a hardwood board with a thickness of 18~20mm, (X, Y, Z, positive and negative 6 directions will be dropped once respectively). Then the sample will be examined for its appearance, function, and performance after the test.

The appearance of the final sample can be defective, but the function is not allowed to have abnormalities, as well as the need to disassemble the machine to confirm whether there is a potential risk due to the internal drop test.
